No personal experience with Furrion but we always choose Rear View Safety components.

Today I paired the unit then installed. I have no power to the camera. I get a no signal on the monitor. I took the camera out and plugged into the power cable and it worked. Any ideas

Bill. Not sure if it is the same furrion camera system that came with my 2019 pinnacle but mine has to have the parking lights on the truck turned on to work. It is factory installed.

And mine is the Observation System too. It work great for a 1400 mile trip home last week. It did loose its pic every once in a while but usually came back on in a few seconds. It is also a wide view and shows a great view of what is behind you and very helpful passing trucks so you know when you are clear to pull back in.

Rear View Safety

To those of you that mentioned that you have the Rear View Safety branded camera how do you like them? Any issues with the signal dropping out? I have a 338rets so I have some distance between the trailer and the cab. I'm a little concerned of signal issues. I noticed Rear View Safety has wired systems for trailers and with the 338rets having a rear entertainment center, getting the wire fished to the front shouldn't be to difficult. I'm just not sure if the wired systems will mate up to the Furrion mount already back there.

I had the trailer plugged in to the truck and the parking lights on. The power indicator is not on, on the camera.

We have only installed the hard-wired RVS systems in our motorhomes. They have been flawless.

Thanks. It'll be more work but I think it'll be worth it in the end to go hardwired.
