Rear propane quick connect. Low volume

On my 2016 24rbs I have a propane quick connect near the rear bumper. I have an outdoor kitchen with a sink and two burners. I have a bumper mounted low pressure grill. I connected the grill to the rear propane quick connect. Soon I learned the grill was not working well. The grill was barely getting hot. I thought the grill was just cheap junk and I was about to buy a new one. Before retiring the grill for target practice, I hooked it up to the propane outlet on the side of the camper.

Boom! The grill works. Quickly looking under the camper I noticed a distribution block / splitter. The main line comes in the front and there is a tap for the fridge, water heater, side quick connect (outdoor kitchen), and a rear line which has a hose extension and terminates at the rear quick connect.

Is this square splitter restricting the rear propane line? Intentionally? The valve seems to operate normally. The quick connect does not have any visible blockage, and has a cap for when not in use. The hose is not visibly kinked or damaged.

I can do more troubleshooting, just don’t want to waste time and learn it is intentionally restricted.

There should not be anything inside the block restricting the flow. Maybe the quick connect is malfunctioning on you. Can you kook up the two burner to that back one, and see if it works back there, as well as the side connect? If it doesn't, then it may need replacing. Just a thought.

The square splitter/distribution block doesn’t restrict flow.

Thanks everyone. Turned out to be a problematic quick connect. I removed the quick connect / valve combo from the hose. I attached a male quick connect to the removed female / valve side. No air would pass through the quick connect. I noticed when I forced the coupling together, some air would pass. Replaced the valve and all is well.

Thanks for the update. Glad that's resolved.
