Looking to buy a receiver hitch for the back of my 2015 Jayco 27 rls so I can atach a cargo rack to back to carry our generator. Any thoughts out there.

Did the same on a big Jayco PUP that I owned, years ago... Just make sure that the tail weight doesn't lighten the tongue weight too much, as it will cause the tail to wag the dog...

Do you have a Flight (not sure which your 27 is)? If so, I think it was '15 that Jayco first offered the rear cargo hitch for certain Jay Flights. Do you have a shorth length of angle iron welded to the bottom/ rear of the frame? If so, you may have that option. Max weight rating is 300lbs.

As mentioned, don't load the rear to much causing sway induced by to light of a tw!!! You may need to start hauling fresh water (if you don't already & if in front of the axles) to compensate.
