Try 511 for the state you are looking for or the local State Police, Highway Patrol.

Louisiana is still bumpy in some areas, especially Baton Rouge to the Atchafalaya Basin area.
Lake Charles is bumpy also.

The worse is probably just across the TX/LA line in Orange, TX with the road construction there. Go slowly.

Between Beaumont and Anahuac, there is also a lot of road construction.
