battery power

when stating that the battery was hooked up properly did not realize that the ground wire goes to the positive terminal. When changed over, everything good. One more problem though, fridge and furnace on same circuit, the furnace works fine on all different types of power, but fridge wont come on with any of the types of power. Before the camper was taken out to the hunting property and was plugged into shore line the fridge did work. Any ideas will be appreciated. its a 2007 jayco jay feather, Jim

I bought mine a couple weeks ago, will install it this week (or possibly "in the wild" this weekend?), so we'll see how it goes...

We use the BATWING antenna here on pole outside our OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer.

This is the BATWING that has the dipoles on it. I installed one of the Winegard Antenna Wall Plates that has the power supply built-in.

We have this connected to a VIZIO 22-inch flat screen HDTV set.

We point the BATWING towards the local town transmitting the NATL BROADCAST TV signals.

We just go to the TV menu and select ANTENNA and then run a scan. We usually see 6-36 digital stations here on the TV just about every where we go heree on the East side of the US...

All transmitted in high def HDTV mode on our 22-inch TV.

One trick we learned here is if when scanning we don't see anything being logged into the scan window with more than 30% scan then will stop scanning and move antenna a few degrees one way or the other and start the scan again.

My BATWING antenna has a small LED ON and the Antenna Panel halso has a lit LED ON when the button is pushed. This tells me 12VDC is being fed to the antenna to power up its internal PRE-AMP inside the BATWING.

My BATWING looks like this one except it is mounted on a attached pole on the side of my POPUP. I reach out the window flap to rotate it...

Works good for us....
