If your thinking about camping in Florida you MUST read this book. Great to read to the kids too.

I have been asked, "Are there panthers in Florida." Yes! as well as coyotes, bears, bobcats, alligators, pythons, rattle snakes , water moccasins and coral snakes. But the most dangerous thing of all in the wild believe it or not are hornets! be careful out there while hiking. If you get stung DO NOT smash it. Brush it off. You will mark yourself and the other hornets will track you down for up to 400 hundred feet forsaking all other people. Please be aware of your surroundings. Most hornets come from the underground nests.
