What are your favorite reads? Please contribute!
  1. Check-out Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller series; he wrote THE LINCOLN LAWYER and now Amazon has the BOSCH TV series. Make sure you read them in order.
  2. Another great author is Tony Hillerman who wrote the Leaphorn and Chee series; some were made into PBS MYSTERY! movies. Make sure you read them in order.

I listen to a lot of audio books nowadays. I like the old adventure stories, true crime, and modern adventure (as in the last couple of centuries!).

Tony Hillerman and Margaret Coel are two good writers. I've listened to and read all the Jules Verne, H.G. Welles, James Oliver Curwood, H. Rider Haggard et al stories I could get my hands on.

Liking history, I enjoyed O'Reilly's Killing Kennedy, Killing Jesus, Killing Patton, and Killing Lincoln. We too listen to audio books and his are done well.

Another interesting read is "Riding Rockets" by Astronaut Mike Mullane. Had the privilege of hearing him speak at a meeting and speaking with him after.
