A former colleague of mine just bought a new Seismic 6th wheeler to go with his Ram 3500 dually. Paid cash for the 5er and the truck is already paid for....said it was a choice between remodeling the house or the 5er. In his words, "when the recession hits and everything goes to heck in a handbasket....at least we'll have a roof over our heads where ever we want to put it." He's big into survival thinking and has already customized the cargo area for all his "supplies" as he calls it. If anybody can survive an upheaval it'd be him......I used to think he was just nuts about all that stuff, but given the way things are going right now. he may just be ahead of the curve.......

If they're selling so many units, why the need for warehouses to store them in??

My take - Thor has record income (for them), because they bought out all the competition and are simply a larger company now. Statistics can be used to tell whatever story you want them to...

Well RV sales are on pace to set a record this year, possibly over 500,000 units. I think the warehouses are to build them in. And Thor has one VERY big competitor, Forest River. So while they did buy out some, but certainly not all the competition.

Thor Stock was $91 last year about this time...has hit $156.. I bought Costco at $41 back years ago...it's done well but was stuck for a long time about $160's... F5 did well, bought it again about $91 hit $130's.

Thor may of run itself out...
