Refridgerator

We have a 2009 Designer 35RTLS. Having problem with it not getting cold whether it's on gas or electric. Being that it could be the heat exchanger of which I understand could run around $1000.00 I've been thinking about just going to a boxstore and getting an aftermarket fridge that would fit. Of course it would be electric only, which is ok as we park the trailer at a campground all summer and if we do travel, we are to the next spot in about 5 hours. Anybody have any suggestion as what would be a good replacement for a Norcold N821F fridge?

Is it showing any codes on the front panel? The little Norcold in mine would flash a code and it ended up being just the thermister which was like $20 and 10 minutes to clear the code and install it.

The newer units have residential fridge and an inverter to power it.

I think any brand name residential model that fits will do the trick.. You'll have to get it through the door somehow.
We have a GE residential fridge that came in our 2016 Jay Flight 38FDDS. We are seasonal also.. I could never go back to an RV fridge after having our full size residential fridge (with ice maker).
