We travel with it on. Certain tunnels you can't keep it on while going through.

If we go for a couple hours or less...depending on temps...we don't but we cold soak overnight before leaving.

Extended trip the refer is running on propane....no issues doing this except...your refer and contents remain cold/froze including the stuff in the freezer.

I always travel with the propane on unless there are regulatory conditions (like when traveling over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel) that, by law, require me to turn it off.

We have kept the fridge on while on the road for well over 15k long distance travels without problems. We do turn it off if we can't level the trailer (front to back) while stopping for food/shopping etc. Neither of us remember to turn it off while fueling.

We keep the fridge/freezer running on propane while we are on the road in between stops. I must say that despite the blast furnace like summer we've had - we haven't really used a ton of propane (or at less than I expected) on our trip this summer.

We run the fridge everytime we travel. Never had a problem. I am thinking about adding a 12volt fan to help it out though.

We travel with our fridge on. If you have the propane on and stop for fuel, you may want to consider turning it off as well as the items running on propane while refueling. I do this just to be safe. I know others may tell you different, but that is just my opinion and what I do to be safe.

I alaways leave the fridge on auto, as soon as I unhook the shore power I am running on propane. I have never had a problem in 8 years of trailering.

I never leave the water heater on.

When we picked up our trailer, I asked the dealer and they stated there are no issues with driving the frig on, or having the trailer out of level while running on propane.

I run on propane while traveling. We went a short distance with the first trip and did not and we noticed a significant drop in temperature of the freezer when we got there in just 40 minutes without power. RV fridges take longer to cool down, so any loss of temperature can cause issues.

We always tow with the fridge on "gas". Don't want to get to the CG with warm beverages!

My dealer recommended not having the refridgerator running (valve on propane tank open) while traveling. The concern he expressed was having an accident that resulted in losing the tank emitting propane at an accident scene. This is probably a low probability issue but never say never.

I was also under the impression that in some states running with propane on was illegal.

Turning the fridge off while traveling does not remove the propane from the equation in the event of an accident. In the case of a rapid gas loss event I believe they have a valve in them that will shut them off.

I have always traveled with the refer on.

If there is a state that its illegal than I just drive a little faster to get through it.
