Regulator Wiring

I purchased a Renogy Rover regulator. I am installing it next to the batteries. The Jayco wiring routes the positive lead from the roof mount solar panel down to a 30 amp fuse and then on to the battery via the disconnect switch.. I moved that solar panel lead from the 30 amp fuse directly to the Rover positive input. Should I connect the voltage positive output lead from the Rover back to the 30 amp fuse or just go directly to the battery positive? My concern is that going directly to the battery eliminates any safety the 30 amp fuse provides. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I have the Rover controller and have it fused to the panels plus a separate fuse that is in the feed to the battery. I have attached the Renology manual for the controller.

Thanks for the response. I think I'll go from the controller back to the 30 amp fuse and on to the battery disconnect. Then the feed from the battery disconnect to the battery feeds through a 40 amp fuse.
