Reinventing the wheel

I don't want to reinvent the wheel so I'm looking for sugestions.

I hate the way the power cord on our 5W just pushes up into the compartment. pain in the butt. I've thought of installing an exterior connector and using a detachable cord. That is the way my horse traile LQ is set up. Any other ideas?

I opted for the slide out bike rack as a $400 option. This trip the bikes bounced around and slid down the vertical stancion and became lodged. Then they rubbed the cables on the bikes till it ruined one of them. Any ideas on how to better secure the bikes to the rack?

BTW...we had a good trip at Gulf Shores State Park in Alabama. Visited with my son and his wife and had the grandkids with us.

The power cord mount sounds like something I would like to do, it would not only be better storage but would help keep out insects.

Can't help on the bikes.

Yea, many thanks Wiscamping for the tip and site info. My trailer has the same set up as Skymutt and when I get back from the trip I'm about to leave on I'll definitely look into the Marinco AC Receptacle.

Thanks again!
