Renogy products and service, NOT

I have personally used their products for a lot of years in the past. In this new camper i ordered their inverter 11 days ago and have been fighting with their stupid overseas service department to get it delivered.

UPS is showing that the shipping label was created on the 14th of Aug, but for some reason no pick up. The talking heads that i attempt to speak to continues to tell me that it takes up to 14 days for their fullfillment center to ship it out. But I did get some additional parts shipped on the same order in about three days. I keep telling them that.

But all those service center people from the overseas call center will come back with is the same line, just wait for the mandatory time and then call back. They even tell me once the order is created they cannot reverse it. I have even ask to speak to someone in the states. They tell me there are none.

I did go on Amazon and they state that prime customers will receive the same inverter in two days from the Renogy store. I read the reviews, especially the one star ones and they speak about the horrors of the product and further more getting a refund on many of the inverters that returned right along with the useless service center. These folks have gotten my last dime. I did use Rich Solar for one camper and had great service from their product and their phone service centers.

Anyone have any special methods to get to someone with a brain that gives a crap too? I just checked Amazon this morning.. This is what came up.

Sorry you are having this problem. You bought the inverter directly from Renogy?


As you found out the Renogy Amazon store has better prices and faster service.

I have called for the last three days and spoke to the customer service line. The folks on the other end of the line readily tells me they are in the Philippines . I ask directly if I can talk to someone in the U.S. to get some update on the reason why I cannot get some resolution on the shipping of this order.
Currently this morning I am getting the same message directly on the UPS tracking site.

I have all the payment statements and the order statements.
As stated my money is tied up with Renogy , but i can order right now and get the inverter delivered from Amazon.

I have been banging my head against the wall on this, as I want to finish my rigging. I have the solar panels. But I have not received the mounting brackets either. So I went back on Amazon and ordered Bouge RV solar panel brackets last afternoon and they are out for delivery today.

To follow up on my Renogy 2000 watt inverter, well I have two on my way, according to the shipping information. And they have billed me for two. Returning them and getting a credit has in the past been a royal pain and lengthy process. So if anyone has a need or wishes to own one, let me know. I will pay for shipping it to you from North Carolina and you and you pay the cost of the new inverter. Send a pm or just let me know here.
By the way talking to UPS to turn one around to the shipper is another useless endeavor.

You have to wait until it gets gets delivered and then create a return authorization . Of course there again you are talking to someone overseas and they are prepped to repeat a couple of lines numerous times with you try to talk some reason into them.

Well the insanity of buying directly from Renogy and now Amazon continues.
Neither the UPS or Renogy has anyone you can talk to in the U.S. with a brain that can give me any further information on what the H^%$ is going on. The folks may as well not be answering their phone after minutes on hold if you can get past their computer questions or menu.

This is the shipping information from UPS for the current order. I guess they are just moving it around the facility to different areas and scanning it for kicks.
