Our theater seats and couch are showing wear. The 'pleather' is dissolving on the arms and back so we new we needed to do something. We've been shopping RecPro, Lippert, eTrailer.com, Amazon... then we wondered about 'modular furniture'.
Our Jayco is only 8' wide while some Jayco's are even wider, so the couch length has been a problem. We did the measurements and found just the thing so I want to share this with y'all on this forum in case you are wondering what options you have too.
Linsy Home makes a few different sizes and the smallest (RUBIK I) fits our needs.
Three units will replace the couch. If you really want an end-table, wifey "must have", then one will still fit (see photos below). If you're happy without, swap out the included larger armrests (see theater seat photos below) would be used instead.
We got 7 modular units, 2 armrests and 2 headrests all for 1k! These are available in multiple colors and the covers are removable and washable.
Go figure. If you have a wider unit you might consider the RUBIK II or RUBIK X models but they wouldn't fit in our camper. That's okay for us because the RUBIK I is a huge upgrade... and for little money too. Wife likes we can assemble into a bed for company (we never have company, but that's important to her too) and they can be assembled to make an L shape couch or keep the two extras as foot rests.
