Replacement keys
This may be old news to some of you, but we had lost one of our bauer style keys for our 2017 Seismic. We were down to one and that made me really nervous. I was able to go on Amazon and buy 2 replacement keys for about $13 shipped. You just get the 3 digit code off the existing key and send an email to the seller after you order your key. Mine keys should be here next week. Hopefully this info will help someone else in the same situation as me.

I ordered mine directly from Bauer. Very reasonable and easy to deal with. For some reason my remaining key didn't have a number, but the woman told me to remove the lock from the door and there would be a sticker inside.

I recently went to the Bauer website and got the keyless entry, padlock, and lock for level screen all keyed to my original locks. Now, my entire 5er has 1 key for everything. Makes things so simple, plus now can lock door without taking a key.

My trailer came with everything keyed alike. I looked at the keyless entry also. I may go that way in the future. Getting spare keys made was much cheaper for now.

Yeah, mine were the same, but I went for the keyless entry and padlock so I could get even simpler! So glad that many campers are keyed-alike these days. The days of having 3 or 4 different keys for all different doors or compartments was a pain!

Our 5th had several different keys for our door/compartments. Only the basement hatches were keyed the same. Through “RV LOCKS AND MORE” I bought a new entry latch and locks for the battery and front storage that matched the basement locks. Each new lock came with 2 keys and I ordered maybe 4 additional keys so we now have plenty of spares. I think newer units come with most locks keyed alike.

I was camping one with my friend in his 5th wheel and we managed to lock ourself out... The trailer next to us had a couple of young boys with him so I went over there to ask if he would let one of his kids climb thru the dirty laundry door and open the front door... The guy said sure so he threw his keys to one of the boys and told him to go unlock the door haha... Kinda neat sometimes when we all have the same keys haha..
I carry spare keys for my off-road POPUP trailer in my truck box - It has push button lock on drivers door... That is handy too...

I just ordered a set of the Ace style camlocks for my cargo doors. I just feal the round key is just more secure than a key that 25 out of 30 at the rv parks we pull into have the same key. I will feal better but admit no sure way to keep a dishonest mudda out.

Usually the key is a 751 which is pretty much universal
Changing out the locks is the only way to prevent someone from using that universal key!
Sorry :-(
