I bought a 2015 16XRB with maybe 100 miles on it. It has the C-Load Rated factory tires on it. After driving 600 miles, 400 with a full load, I just didn't like how hot they were running (to the touch) and the way they were sitting.
The tires had a MFG date of 2014, zero dry rot, and perfect condition.

But the one thing I don't need is to have to worry about the tires all the time. So day 2 on the trip, I go to Discount Tire and put the Carlisle D rated to replace the factory. I get ~400lb more carry capacity on those tires.

The best part is 8 ply vs 6, and ZERO headache or worry for the rest of my 1000 miles.
The D rated run much cooler to the touch as well.
If they would have had the 215 in stock, I'd have done that over the 205, as it gives a little taller stance, but more rubber means cooler running.

Just my opinion.
(Couldn't get anything for the tires due to age, but he waved the disposal fee, as he could sell them for $10 each)
