Replacing carpeting/flooring

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has tackled putting in new flooring in their camper? I have one slide. In each corner where slide comes in is black. We did have a leak one year but we fixed it. Anyways numerous kid stains. Want to replace but how do you tackle? Especially where the slide meets flooring?
Forgot to mention I have a 2004 jayco jay flight.

Back in 15 the winter was so cold it split our flooring from one end to the other. We had a Montana Mountaineer 5th wheel. The flooring was linoleum or something similar. I cut it out with a utility knife and replaced it with a peel and stick type flooring I got from Home Depot. First try I laid down luan over the OSB sub floor then the peel and stick. Turned out nice until the slide went in a out a few times and started to scratch the flooring. I had to take it all out and just put the peel and stick right down on the OSB. Much better. We had a strip of carpet about 10-12" wide from the flooring to the slide out when extended. The slide itself was carpet. Where the carpet and the flooring come together all they do it roll the carpet under itself to make the edge and staple it down. I think the staples were about 4-6" apart. I used an air powered gun to staple it back down. It actually turned out really nice. I almost didn't want to sell it but 8 had to because we already bought a brand new 5th wheel.
