with an 1800 # pin weight, probably.

Key element is what does the yellow sticker say on the driver's door jam?

The biggest concern will be your payload. A fully loaded crew cab chevy diesel 4x4 can have a payload of less than 2000 lbs.

Most likely Yes. The eagle is more of a mid height 3/4 ton rv. I would say no to most full height northpoints or pinnacles. But I know im going to get some slack for that last comment from the 3/4 ton guys pulling them.

Google "Can I tow this trailer" and then plug your weights in and see what you get.

I towed with that exact vehicle both 2004 and 2014 with no problems and well within limits.

As Jagiven said above, that yellow sticker will tell you volumes about a particular truck. No assumptions can be made about any trucks capacities, only what is on that sticker is relative to that exact truck.

You may be a little over GVWR. I had a ‘16 2500, and was maxed out with an Eagle HT(max 10K lbs). I then moved onto an Eagle with a max weight of 12700lbs and was 1000lbs over. I added some Sumo springs with the Eagle and that made for a nice ride towing the heavier trailer in strong crosswinds and on mountain roads. In hind site, air bags would have been a better choice for adjustability.

You may want bags or Sumo/Timbrens like I had, but I think the truck will work just fine for you. If it feels good stock, leave it be.

Look at the payload in the door jamb. It'll tell you what you can put in you truck and then there is no question about it - after you actually weigh the pin of the trailer.

Thanks for all the responses. I guess i will get off my butt and look at the door jamb which may or may not prompt more questions.
