rlsw owners-water leaks

After driving through a heavy rain for about 2 hours when we stopped we noticed that the carpet by the slide-out was wet. Also the window tracks had water leaking from just the sliding windows. What I found. When the slide-out is closed the rubber seal on the bottom of the slide-out only sealed up the front bottom half. There is a gap on the back half of the bottom seal that I could feel with my fingers. That puts that area in direct line with water coming off the back tire when the camper is moving. There is a narrow sheet metal piece attached to the camper that shields the water coming off the front tire. I made a sheet metal guard and attached it to the bottom of the camper not the slide-out with self tapping screws. I haven't tried my fix out yet. The real correct solution would probably be to align the whole slide-out to correct the bottom part of the seal that doesn't seal. I'm not up for that yet. I'm really not fond of "take it to a dealer."
Regarding the sliding window water leaks I suspect the corner window seal (glazing) that is rolled inward top and bottom is the problem. This also just leaks when driving down the road in the rain.
To cold right now to crawl under the camper to take a picture but I have one of the window seal issue but I don't know how to post it here. I need easy to understand picture posting instructions.

The easy way to post pictures is on the quick reply screen, hit the Go Advanced button. On the advanced screen look on the top row of the tool bar for the paperclip and click on it. That will open another small window where you can choose which file (picture) you want to post from your files

Digger Dan, we have been in Prince George a couple of times stayed over night at your Wal-mart. We had to get some meds from the pharmacy.
They were a big help even went to a med clinic to renew a prescription.
Friendly Canadians as usual.

That seal does not look right.. quick fix silicone maybe but I would be having a dealer fix ASAP
Trailers don't take well to water getting inside seals

Don't ever use silicone, if you ever have to repair area again nothing will stick to silicone. Jayco uses OSI Quad sealant which is available at Home Depot.
