Road assistance/Extension cords

Thank you all for getting back at me with so much info! I am going to go with Good Sam, just for the security that they will give me and the husband.
As for the extension cord, well, I think I may just call an electrician.

Had Good Sam Roadside Assistance for 25+ years. Used them for breakdown tows and flat tires. Never had any complaints, would still be with them but Coach-Net came with the new Seneca. Don't know how good they are - hope I don't have to find out!

I have state farm, and so do my parents. I have never needed their services (knock on wood), but my parents have a few times, once with their trailer attached. The tow company showed up, put the suburban on the flatbed and hooked up the TT, and off they went. The Tow truck took them home, about 90 miles, dropped off the TT, and then delivered the TV to the local service station. SF reimbursed with no questions asked. Sounds like their policies may have changed, so I should double check them.
