Roadtrippers or Copilot?

Morning All,

I have my trusty Garmin 770 GPS but I’d like to have backup navigation on my phone and iPad that will allow me to program in my RV specifications. Does anyone have knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of these two programs?

Thanks.

I use the free app RV Parky which allows me to program in my RV height and some specs. Not a lot of detail, but helps me avoid low clearance.

The AllStays app ($9) has clearances on its mapping function that I find useful. I set the filters to show 14’ clearances and it shows 14’ or lower underpasses and I look along the route we’re traveling. For navigation I use google maps. I’ve found its Street View useful in a couple of situations to “preview” a questionable turn, intersection or the like. I also use the satellite view to look at parking lots and fuel stops to insure I can get out before I go in.

I tried the copilot rv app but later found that it does not support TT or FW towing so I would stay away from it if towing
