Roof Lounge TT?

I was just browsing a local dealerships website and I cam across a TT that had a roof mounted lounge. I never saw that before, but then again I'm only about 1.5 years into this hobby!

... that is impressive. It's more (much more) than I would want, but if that was "my thing", that's a nice design.

When we shopped for a TT, the sales rep asked me if I would need to be on the roof. I said "no", and asked why I would want to be. She said many folks have a need to be on the roof for viewing events like races, and it's a common request from NASCAR fans. I think you could be comfortable watching a race in that layout.

Yea, they must be a racing fan. If everyone did it then they all would be back at the same viewing level as on the ground.
Looks nice but I don't want anyone bouncing around on my trailer roof. I want my trailer to be water tight and stay that way.
JMHO,

Many RV roofs are not structurally designed for significant weight, such as a person. For maintenance, a thin sheet of plywood and a hands & knees stance is needed to spread the weight. Personally, I would not walk on a roof of a unit that does not have a permanent ladder. The ones that have a ladder are designed with extra support so that walking is not a problem. If you're not sure, a simple check with Jayco with your serial number will determine if it's OK to walk up there. JMHO

At one time there were numerous units, TT & MH in particular that had a roof deck. Their construction was very similar to a boat deck, so probably costly. I haven't seen any for a while so I assume they didn't sell well

I noticed by the pics descriptions that the TT is a 2003 Citation. It would be interesting to see if they still make a roof top model.
