I'm not sure if I would ever buy another Jayco. Camper is just under 3 years old and only used half a dozen times because of health issues. The problem is at the top of the rear wall. The rubber roof wraps over the top of the wall. The aluminum skin was cut to long and has torn thru the rubber in 4 places. The dealer agrees it is a bad install. Jayco has yet to accept fault. They boast about their leading warranty but it's not worth much. Very disappointed!!
Here's a whole 'nother thread on this very issue! I expect you're out of luck at 3 years since the warranty was only 2 years? Or did you perhaps get an extended service contract/warranty that might come into play.
I'm pretty sure what you're referring to is the roof membrane manufacturer's warranty against defects, which doesn't cover labor to do repairs or replacement, nor damage caused by improper installation which applies in this case.
