I lived in Rapid City back in mid seventies. Great place to camp and enjoy nature. be sure to visit Spearfish canyon (Dances With Wolves was filmed there) Lead and Deadwood.

I so want to do the Rushmore trip. My DW on the other hand really has no desire to go there at this time. We'll see about the future. Hope you trip is a great 1.
By the way, We are in Plano, not far from Aurora. Small world I guess.

Happy to hear all went well. We loved it there but at that time we were in a tent. Looking forward to going back with the trailer!
