Texas T, I plan to put the unit in the bunkhouse for the reason Seann45 said. Cold air drops. Like you, everytime I pull the camper out, I learn something. If I had only knew, the unit would have had a 2nd ac unit prior to leaving the dealership. As far as height, I measured, I don't think the ac unit will be any higher that the "vent cover" thing the dealer installed over the vents.

Krackeer--- I got to RV.Net by just "Googling" "how to install a second ac unit on a rv". That led me to a discussion regarding the subject. I don't know how to post a link, nor do I know how to do the "quote" things some of you guys put on here.

What I've learned, If you live south of the Masson-Dixion line and want a 5er, get two ac units.
