There are several of the metal carport type companies around that will furnish stamped engineered drawing that codes will accept. I have a 14" high, 18' wide, 40' long metal carport type RV shed that I am very pleased with. There is another advantage to this type structure it can be easily made longer in 5' increments if the need arise. Mine cost $3,500.00 complete on my site. All I had to do was prepare the site ready for the installer. They arrived and 5 hours later they were gone. I could have saved $1,000.00 if I had chosen the horizontal roofing.
