Don't use one, but I've seen the 1x4 board hugging the ladder on the rear wall on lots and lots of RV's. Has 2 slots cut so it hugs the ladder standoffs, with holes for coat hangers.

We use a Stromberg Carlson CL-100 on the back bumper of our TT. Two brackets mount one time, and the poles slip onto them.

We have this one:
Smart Design Heavy Duty Clothes Drying Rack w/Adjustable Wings

It is light and folds up. We throw it in the shower when we're not using it or when we're travelling.

Depending on the wind and sun we can mount this one on ladder or on front frame next to propane tanks. Stromberg Carlson CL-36 Extend-A-Line Clothes Dryer

I bought one of the retractable ones and mounted it inside the shower. A lot of campgrounds discourage clotheslines and I also wanted a way to dry things on the move too. Works great and even if you do an outside one as well this is a great addition.

We also use the extend-a-line clothes drying rack mounted on our ladder.

I didn't get a picture of it but I saw a clothesline mounted on a rear bumper of a TT this past week it was two poles mounted in flag holders on each end of the top of the bumper they had vinyl clothesline stung between them they were set at a 45 degree angle. The pole were about 4 foot. Very simple to make. I just drape my towels over the arms of my awning.

Do find that the CL36 to be too large and stick out too much off the back?

Do you use clothes lines when you are boondocking? A lot of the campgrounds we stay at don't allow them.
