Were headed to piratland in myrtle beach tomorrow from nj. Id like to get a head start and leave around 6pm and run til about 1am which should put me south of richmond. Just looking for some good safe ideas where to pull over for a few hours. Thanks guys. My route will be on 95

Mom & Dad have always stopped at Prince William just south of DC.

When we vacationed near myrtle beach, we spent the night in Fredricksburg, just over an hour south of DC.

Google shows 7hr 21 min to Selma, NC. We stayed there at RVacation Campground last month. Nice, and right off the interstate, easy in and out. That might be stretching it though, with the traffic you're likely to encounter.
