Sanitizing Question

This may be elementary. I have filled the fresh water tank, all water lines, including the HW tank with sanitizing solution. I let it sit overnight, then drained and flushed with fresh water.

My question is: If the RV water lines need sanitized, don't I need to sanitize the inside of the supply hose as well? Otherwise, don't the hose contaminate the sanitized RV water lines?
What is your method to sanitize your supply hoses?

I hold both ends of my fresh water hose up with one hand and then pour the bleach/water solution into the hose till it fills up, then I screw the ends together. Let it sit overnight. It makes quite a difference and you never know what grew in the hose over winter.

After the sanitizing solution has set overnight in the freshwater tanks, I use a funnel clamped to the side of a bucket to drain the tanks through my freshwater hoses. When the tanks finish draining, I drain and coil the hoses up overnight with whatever residual solution is in them. The next day, I connect our freshwater hoses to our house spigot and run some water through the hoses just before filling our freshwater tanks.

Since we don't drink the water in the tank I just use the water going through the hose into the tank to sanitize the hose as a flushing agent. City water has some chlorine in it anyway.

I just don't want to risk washing in gunk that could grow in a damp tank. If I remember I would put in a couple of gallons with chlorine to keep down growth over the fall and spring.
