Sarcastic reply

I recently received a sarcasstic reply. Has this happened to anyone else? I thought this was frowned upon in the community rules. This guy was really sarcasstic I mean really sarcASStic. A real know it all type, a SENIOR MEMBER too. I bet he has a red phone in his RV with a direct line to Donald Bontrager. I hope to be a Senior Member someday. I’ll then know I’ve reached the pinnacle of success. Sorry for misspelling sarcASStic.

Mention my pillow mattress and you will REALLY see hostility.

There is a small red "warning" sign at the bottom left of your message. His too. You can report that message to the Mods and they will evaluate it.

I wish the adage "there are no dumb questions" was true but fact is there are. 35 years as a police officer and I can tell you there are lots of dumb questions and even more people who make dumb decisions.

When dealing with the public, a very true statement.. As an example.

I was PW Director for our local community and had a crew out repairing several asphalt streets. A resident called and said,"Looks like the street's been patched", I replied yes there were numerous bad areas that needed repair.. Her response, "How come the color doesn't match?".......So they do exist.

My concern is that not only do they exist but they vote and breed.

Mr Grumpy, Had to reply to your post. I usually keep quiet but this hits home. I am a retired Public Works Director . I had several crews in streets , water-sewer and Drainage. One night durring a Thunder storm a nice person called me to complain of water in the ditch in front of her home. As it was storming, I told her that was normal , But I would come check it out after the weather subsided. She said oh no it will be to late then because the water will be gone !!! Folks they live around us and vote what can i say. HAAPPY CAMPING!!!

The good thing is that sometimes they do something that eliminates them from the gene pool.

So where is the fun part whining about a reply that upsets you?
This is a forum with very few keyboard warriors that would not say things to your face.

Welcome to the anonymous internet. BTW, there are moderators to complain to.

I've been a middle school and high school teacher the last part of my career. Dumb questions are my specialty.

It's really difficult to figure out the emotion behind a written word on a forum. What some feel is a sarcastic comment is perceived as humor by others. I tend to be a bit sarcastic at times and, stupidly, post what I feel, are humorus comments. Others may not feel the same.

If the Borg ever show up, and we are all assimilated, there will be a lot less fun!

My opinion and worth what you paid for it.

X2

I perform improv comedy and sarcasm can kill a scene quickly. Not everyone gets it. Which can be hilarious for those that do.

I'm thinking of the OP has a hidden message in his spelling of sarcastic but I don't want to ASSume.

Who determine what the high road is? Some do not know "high road"

The high road is for you (each of us) to determine what it is even if others do not do the same. ~CA
