Schwinntec motor question

Hello all! I have a question about the slide motors in the schwinntec slides. Do they slow down over time or do they just stop working when they are bad? Thanks in advance!
Jerry

First thing, welcome to the forum. I think the answer to your question is depends. There are a number of things that could cause the motors to stop working. If they get old/used enough they could begin to slow down. Also dragging seals or low voltage could cause them to slow down. Bad wiring at the motor or between the motor and controller could cause them to stop working. I think it is goingvto depend what the issue is. I have a Schwintek slide and I'm not experienced with any issues yet.
