The older ones like mine have a hidden screw that adjusts the stall force. My kitchen slide would sync for 3-5 sec after holding switch full open or closed. I also noticed the slide moldings that push up against the wall were really flexing. I adjusted the force screw and the flexing is way less. Also the motors no longer do that spinning sync. I had to go back and add a 1/4 turn more force after we maxed out fridge for a summer trip. The fridge side stalled out with the additional weight. I know there are still slide problems but older units were twisting shafts and breaking the gibs. I have not seen that on newer units since they did away with adjustable force. They now have a built in resistance that stalls out the motors.
