Scott’s RV toilet paper

Brought a large pack of Scott’s RV toilet paper from Walmart. It it just me or this Scott’s brand of t.p. does not desolves or break up vey well? I had to black flush a 3-4 cycles to get it out. Hopefully I got most of it out. Thank god that I am using a transparent connector at least you can see.

Anyone else having the same issue?

We used septic tank safe toilet paper. Our Class C black tank has a built in sprayer and a separate connection to hook up a water hose to. (A designated water hose is used). Turn the water on and the sprayer in the tank sprays water around the inside of the black tank as it flushes it out. This works great for us.

Marketing....eh. We use what we like or should say, what the wife likes. Just about every TP of an authentic national brand name is safe for septic systems by design....they'd be nuts to limit the size of their market to only municipal waste systems.

Take two mason jars....fill with water....add two sheets of your favorite TP to one and two sheets of your prefered RV toilet paper into the other. Lids on. Shake each for fifteen to thirty seconds. Make your decision.

We use it with out any trouble. We do, however, make sure the tank is 2/3 full before emptying. This helps push everything out. We also make sure there is plenty of liquid in the tank. We start to run the tank flush before draining the tank.

Take two squares. Place them in a water glass with about a cup of water. Cap the end of the glass with your hand and give it a shake. Let it site for 30 minutes. If it is dissolved your good to go.

Also never dump your black tank is not 2/3 full or more. You need a lot of water to flush the crude out of the tank. After dumping add fresh water back into the tank about 10% tank of its volume. For me that is about 3 gallons of water.

When using the toilet, make sure to flush a lot of water. Lots of water is your friend when it comes to your black tank.

We use regular Scotts, have for years. If you allow the tank to fill before dumping, it's not an issue. If you don't you'll have issues beyond the type of TP you use.

We have been using Angel Soft TP for a while now. I do flush our tank out with a wand down the toilet after every outing, and it seems to disintegrate well as I'm doing that. There are some globs of it on the initial dump that pass through the clear elbow, but so far haven't had a clog.
