Seasonal Camping / Campsites

My wife and I were looking at all the seasonal campers around us this weekend. We started wondering:

How do they 'stop' camping if they have a destination trailer? How do you unload something that hasn't been moved in years?

What if you get neighbors that are awful and you want to move?

????

Not too difficult to sell if it hasn't been moved - keep in mind, there's always someone looking for what they believe is a bargain. For the seller, if they think it's valuable, they'll take care of it and if they aren't taking care of the camper, they'll be happy to accept a lowball offer and save the annual seasonal fee

Getting a less that desirable neighbor on a seasonal site is no different than weekend camping. (Other than it might be longer than a weekend) If they deviate from the general population, make sure the campground management knows and do your part to invite them to find someplace else. Campground management pressure should be expected.

We are just wrapping up our 2nd year of seasonal camping on Cape Cod.

There is always people looking for campers. As someone else said, if you have taken care of the camper if is easier to get the price you want. This time of year seasonal campers that are either buying new campers or are ending camping have campers for sale. Our campground has a rather long waiting list for seasonal sites. Because of this sometimes the only way to get a seasonal site is to buy a camper that is already on a site. This way, you get the site also.

As far as having a neighbor that is obnoxious or loud, management is the way to go. We have great neighbors which makes the year all that much more fun.
