Question Seneca microwave vent I think

There is a vent (looks like)a vent hole, has two tabs and a flat cover as well as what appears to be a rain hood. Question is how do you get it open? Any one know? It is 2015 Seneca HJ. Thanks

If it is for the micro/range hood, move the two tabs to the vertical position and then whent the fan is on it should open.

On my 264bh you have to pry them up, and it does feel like they are going to snap but they haven't so far

Thanks to all. They did snap up in the end. The cover was seriously stuck closed but managed to pry open without breaking. Thanks again
