Sewer Hose

I was told today three states have a law your sewer hose can not lay on the ground. It must be supported and a straight line. Is this a new law for RV owners? What three state practices this?

Do not remember which state, county or city ordinances. Campground always had it on their hand out or posted at check in. We have found some that say it can not physically touch the ground. So we just put a board under any part that might touch the bare ground.

I just read Arizona has the can not touch the ground. I guess we need to up date our sewer hose operation. I just don’t need any problems.

Elevated black hose

I get the reasoning behind this, pinholes in hose, drips, ground contamination, they don't want the park smelling like a sewer. I'm in.
OK. SO, if I dump my tanks once a week not elevating hose during dump, it's on the ground, and stow my hose after each use.
Am I in violation of this rule?
I know legal advise is not permitted here, it may be crappy (wow...) but.....
Can someone post the ordinance?
Can any sewer police chime in?
I don't need a criminal record!
