Sewer Solution

Has anybody used this product? I have a sewer cleanout close to where I park my trailer at home and have been looking getting this to dump at home when lines are long or when we are dry camping and there are no dumpsites around. I can bring my trailer home and hook up the Sewer solution and dump away. Here a link with a video. I know black tank video ewww!! but the thing looks like it works. I need a new sewer hose as well as the floppy one you get with the trailer has a couple of pin holes in it. I am looking at a Rhinoflex any good? Sewer Solution may come next camping budget season.

We bought a Flojet RV waste pump kit for our TT. The nearest sewer cleanout is 75ft from where we park our TT at home. Using a 5/8" or 3/4" garden hose I can flush out our tanks or empty them any time we need to. While camping I can leave the blue tote in the back of the truck and pump to it, making it easier to haul to the dump station. This was one of the best purchases we have made for our TT. Camping World has them, but you can get them cheaper from PPL Motorhomes online.

Started thinking about this more, my cleanout is downhill about 25 ft away from my sewer outlet on the trailer. A sewer hose with an extension would do the job for less than half the money.

I have a Sewer Solution (SS) and it works but it uses a lot of water. Also have the RhinoFlex hose. I don't use the SS any longer since I am on the road all the time anymore.

I looked at that and decided to get the Flo-jet as it does not take extra water to run. I have my own septic and decided it would not be good to dump all that extra water in the system.

I use Sewer solution when at home and a Rhinoflex when on the road. Mostly dry weekend camp meaning most dumping is at home.

Had the SS for about 6 years now - there are cracks appearing in the adapter that hooks to the trailer that have me concerned. I likely will be buying another one, or at least contacting SS to see what they say.

If not less than half. You know I didn't even THINK about using our cleanout at home to flush the tanks. The SS just seems to be a big hassle in my opinion to clean the tanks.

For me it's a pretty level 30' around to the front of the house sewer cleanouts. I ran PVC from the cleanout to close to the camper. I don't have 30' of Rhinoflex. SS has worked well for years now to prevent me from having to use a public dump - and I can take my time when/if needed.

I have the SS and think it's the stuff. True that it uses more water and costs more but I like it. I usually leave the grey valve open and let it drain as it wants and just keep up with the black level. It doesn't smell after using and since it's mostly see-thru you can see your progress. Up-hill or down-hill, it doesn't seem to care. I have a plastic tub that holds the kit and while en route or storage itt sits in the shower tub. The back flush feature does pretty good - not a sub for the wand or installed sprayer. After watching a u-tube video I hadda give it a go. I've never seen another one in use but then I'm still kind of new to the TT lifestyle. I have my slinky stored in the bumper as a backup - hope to never need (it's the one that came in my "starter kit", ie: garbage).
