Shattered Rear Window

Discovered last night as we were going to sleep our rear window shattered. Not sure if it was foul play or road issues that caused it.

Anyways wondering if anyone has experience with getting their windows repaired?

Are there services that come and repair on site or do you generally need to go and take your RV in for this kind of window repair?

I feel like this is a repair I'd be able to do myself in the future, but that's the future and this is the present. It got quite cold last night!

I had a side window that I discovered broken most likely while in storage. It appeared to be a rock impact, from the mower/weed eater I suspect. I checked a local RV shop who said they could repair it, I then checked a couple of auto glass shops and they couldn’t. I wound up buying a same size replacement from eBay. It was meant for an RV with thicker walls so I used the inner flange from the old window. IIRC the replacement was less than $150. I tore the old one up trying to find out how to replace a broken pane but could not find a way to easily take it apart.
The window was a traditional style, single pane with black frame.
