Shoddy roof replacement

I recently have the roof replaced on my 26’ Octane trailer. When I got it back, there are many air pockets throughout. The repair shop tells me that this is not a problem and my next summer it will all smooth out. Another shop tell me this is potentially a problem.

Any folks out there with expertise in this area that can tell me if I should be concerned.

I tend to believe the second shop but would like some documentation to support the claim it is a problem so that I may use it as leverage to get the original shop to make it right. THAT IS, if it is a problem.

You didn't mention the year and model of your rig. Was it due to damage or was it a warranty issue?

I'm no expert but I don't want to see bubbles on a new roof.

It’s a 2014. Low hanging limb had torn a hole in the rubber

I redid mine a couple years back and there are some spots that didn't completely adhere - they still haven't.
In my defense, it was my first time to do a roof and it could have gone better.

I wish I had something constructive to add. But, I don't.

Other than, if you had really good pictures, and some definitive evidence that there shouldn't be air bubbles on a brand new roof job, small claims court could be a remedy.

Call the roofing material manufacturer and ask them. They should be able to give you a good answer. I would contact via email so that you have written response. If they tell you it should not have air pockets, take their response to the installer and ask them to make it right. If they don't contact the manufacturer and let them know. They may be able to pressure the installer.

That is a very good idea. Thank you
