I did not know about it either. You might want to look at doing a forum redirect when people post links to items they sell on other sites, with the option to continue to the linked site. That's what another forum I visit has started practicing, and it works pretty good.
The way that works is say someone wants to post a link to Walmart for a dish basket. The link gets posted, but when you click it, a screen comes up that says you are being redirected to the site's sponsor, but if you want to continue, click this other link to continue to Walmart.
