Shoutout to Progressive Industries

I like to read and also report good things. My EMS-PT30x started showing strange codes and quit working. I reported it to Progressive and sent them the pictures they asked for and I just got a report they are sending me a new unit and to cut the end off my old one and recycle it. That is great service! A few years back I had another brand that went bad and they basically said "sorry bout your luck". That is why I changed to Progressive Industries.

Progressive Industries also just replaced a failed 30 amp unit for me under warranty. Just be aware, it took quite a few weeks between when I received the confirmation email to when the unit actually shipped.

My 5 year old 30 amp PI took a dump 2 years ago. I had a brand new one 6 days after submitting the warranty claim.

Great to hear about a company that stands behind their product.

Recently had an issue with my 7 year old 50 amp portable unit. Water got inside the unit during some heavy thunderstorms and quit working. Opened the unit and drained a small amount of water out and let it dry out for several days but noticed rust on the wire lugs. The EMS operated normally when I plugged it back in but I called PI anyway and explained the problem and that I was concerned about the safety of the EMS due to the rust. After submitting a warranty claim and pics of the EMS I received a confirmation email that afternoon that a new unit would be shipped. They gave the same instructions to cut the plug off the old unit as they did with the OP. Received the new EMS within 4 or 5 days. Progressive Industries makes a great product right here in the USA and has unbelievable customer service. If ever I have to purchase another EMS, my decision has already been made....Progressive Industries.

Good to read they work directly with the customer. I read that their warranty was expecting a dealer to be involved. Reliable product, glad for these results.

While filling out the warranty info on their website I did notice that they require you to provide installer information for hardwired units. That may be the part where a dealer gets involved, providing the dealer installed the unit.

I will also comment on their excellent customer service. I called them saying my hardwired 30a EMS had developed quite a loud electrical buzzing sound. I filled out the online form and attached a couple pictures of it installed, and they shipped me a brand new unit. Very happy with the product and the service. I told them about my online involvement in the RV community and promised I would share my positive experience with others for their favour, so here it is.

My 30 amp PI EMS died in August. After filling out the warranty form online, a new one showed up in six days. Very good service.

I have been a believer in Progressive EMS products for a bit over 10 years now full time. I currently have 2 PT50X units. One is in service full time and the other is a spare to use when the primary one isn't able to do it's job. I absolutely will NEVER plug in anywhere anytime without my PT50X in line. I have had several issues through the years and had 2-3 units replaced promptly and under warranty. Great customer service each and every time.

But no company's response can be fast enough to keep you protected while they are shipping a replacement, that is why I have 2 of them. I am a happy camper.

I'm another believer in Progressive Industries. Water got into my EMS-PT30X on our last trip and quit working. I submitted a warranty claim on 11/3 and the new unit was delivered today. It sure is nice to see a company stand behind their products with excellent customer service!

I started with the PT50C 10 years ago since replaced with the PT50X during warranty replacements. Progressive has always responded quickly to the issues I have had (I full time 10+ years now), but.....

No matter how quickly they respond what do you do to protect your rig while waiting for the replacement? I have a spare PT50X and have had since my first PT50C took a hit years ago. I will never ever plug in anywhere even at home base without protection. So I now have two of them.

State Farm was a nightmare. Liberty Mutual was a nightmare and when we looked at Progressive we thought can't get any worse. It was like heaven. Everyone is great to talk to got a great deal on line navigation terrific and even if something goes wrong at the campsite? We are covered. I can't believe the deal we got on house insurance. So we are Progressive happy 4 years and running. Now to make sure Flo and Jamie are out of my new garage. They love what we did with the place.
