Thanks for the info, RO. I've seen the kind where there is a base plate the tongue is parked on, then insert the pole there.

There's actually a bunch of different mounting ways. The clamps on the ladder, suction cups that stick to the wall of the rig, the metal base plate for under the wheels and a receiver hitch mount, and some others.

For our Seneca, I just made a 1 1/4” receiver mount that bolted to the front frame and made an insert to hold the pole, works great.

Nice, I got to get me one there a place by where I live sell all kind of flag and flag poles I think I go there this week because we will be going on about a 3000+ miles trip Tuesday.

I have tried numerous times to reach the Flagpole Buddy website (http://www.flagpolebuddy.com) without success. Has anyone else had any luck? The company information says they're located in California. I'm wondering if they might have been impacted by the wildfires there.

FWIW if you are in a lightning prone area go with a Fiberglass pole and not an Aluminum pole. I got mine here https://polesandholders.com/
