Shower walls

My 2018 Jayco tub/shower walls are not sealed along the top edges and wondering if the spray off the top of your head will splash up and run down the back of the walls! Do people normally silicone the top edges???
I figured the factory would do that.

Not supposed to be sealed so any moisture/condensation can get out. Also it needs to be able to expand/contract.

Some joints that need caulk could have been missed. One glass panel on our shower had no sealant at the bottom so water leaked out onto the floor. Fixed that one.

And, yes, if you spray water above the edge of the plastic shower panels it will get behind the panel. 'Normal' use won't do that, at least for me, but, I am only 5'10"

Nope, same as the top, leave them open.

If you splash enough water to run down the wall, it will run down the wall and back into the shower tub basin harmlessly. The wall panels overlap a lip in the bottom tub kind of like shingles. They are supposed to be open on top and bottom so that any moisture (like condensation) can escape.

Me too, thanks, was wondering the exact same thing.

We looked at another brand/model of TT that didn't have the show stall walls and only had what appeared to be vinyl wall paper, and it was reported to be water proof and nothing to worry about, so, presumably, that's what is behind the shower stall walls on Jayco TTs. Good to know it's not a problem (knocking on wood here now . . .).

I would suggest that you caulk around your kitchen and bath sinks.
