Sigh . . . down to -42 with the windchill tonight . . . no camping anytime soon!

Its a short camping season in Winnipeg, although I did get in 43 days in my new 32bhds last summer.

But when its this cold, camping season seems a long way off.

If it ever got that cold here everything I own would freeze, no matter what I did to winterize, including me!

I was just north of Winnipeg last Friday / Saturday and it was miserable cold then too. Nothing likes working at those temps!

WOW! When you have to qualify the temperature with a "-" you know it's COLD! Not to make you feel bad or nothin, it's 50F this AM in the Houston area. We're headed for San Marcos TX around noon.
The days have started getting longer so spring will be just around the corner.

Well one good thing about this cold is now the lakes and ponds are freezing over in CT and it is time to power up the ice auger and go ice fishing

All of you make me feel glad my home base is in Alabama. It is +50 here right now.

You all do know the borders are open, right?

I saw -32F on the car thermometer in northern WI on the way to work this morning! Sure to be the coldest morning of the winter.

Wow that's ccc-cold. I experienced -20 degrees once, temperature, not wind chill. Burned my hand on the top of the company car grill. Had to check that 20W-50 motor oil we had to use. The oil was like a string off the end of the dipstick. You tie it in a knot!
