Our dealer says that Jayco will warranty it if the sunken area is over 1 1/2 ", but I wouldn't want another one.

We added a mattress topper for now. I have read where if it is warrantied you can opt for $150 toward a new mattress. I would go that route. Ours is pretty firm right now even though we have a 3" memory foam with cooling topper on it. We have a sleep number in the house so I don't expect this to be as good. Not sure I want to drop $1K on a sleep number for the camper. So we are going with what we have for now.

EDIT: Hmm. I just went to Select Comfort and a RV Short Queen is $2K... I thought I saw them on Camping World for around $1K.

There are many highly rated memory gel mattresses in a box available these day for good prices. I purchases a Brentwood Home 11" on Amazon. We love it.

We order a mattress similar to this for our first motorhome 9 years ago. It has been fantastic and has followed us to another motorhome and now the camper. It is firm and comfortable. It is longer than the platform for the bed maybe 6" but I like the added length. It hangs over a little but because of the firmness that is ok. Just wait to unseal the package until you have it in place as it ships compressed. At the time we bought it, we paid about $400. This looks like a good deal.

Bought a real 80" queen bed, lengthened and reinforced the platform. Sleep like a baby. Threw the Jayco mattress in the dumpster.

I bought a real mattress and the original one is in a storage room for use when the kids have sleep overs. Well worth it!

Last Saturday, after waking up Friday in such horrible pain, we went to a local furniture place and just bought a residential mattress. Middle of the pack - inner spring, do-not-disturb, pillow top Simmons. $400.

Saturday night's rest was the best ever in the RV and 99% as good as the home mattress.

IMHO - RV mattresses, that come with the coach, are to be considered throw-away. I'd rather Jayco not bother with putting the @!#$ mattress in. Heck, I'd *pay* an extra $50 to have them keep their mattress.

4" memory foam topper, sleep better in the TT than we do at home.

Best $150 we've spent in a while -

Our Bungalow came with the Simmons Residential Mattress. It's a lot better than the garbage that came with our Greyhawk. That mattress was a joke. My wife and I would roll into each other it was so bad.

Ours sank the first night we slept in it. We have a 4" Memory Foam topper on it which does help. I just rotated the mattress last night, that helped a little too. We'll probably finish the season with this one and buy a new one for next season.

Our "Simmons" matress had sunken spots after only three nights!! Really!! I'm shocked that Simmons would put their name on this junk. When we looked at the trailer I was so impressed by the Simmons matress. Tried it out it seemed ok. It was way better than our previous one. When we bought it to the dealers attention he said that they were "starter mattresses"... maybe he meant the START OF NEW BACK PROBLEMS!
Who would want a replacement anyway. Why not just sell the trailer and let the owners get there own mattresses if this is the case! Why make more junk for the landfill?!

The Jayco supplied mattresses are pretty pathetic no matter who's name is slapped on them. My jay flight came with a standard queen, but Amazon has quite a few options for all sizes including RV short models.
Worth the investment imo.

It's surprising that Simmons has their name on this. I have a Simmons mattress at home, that I love, but had I been shopping for a new home mattress and encountered this junk previously, I wouldn't even have given the Simmons brand a second glance. I would think the proliferation of this junk would really hurt the sale of their "real" mattresses!!!
