Sleep Number bed owners.
Does having a sleep number bed solve the bed making problem? Can you lift the head up all the way, hook the fitted sheet on the corners then lay it down without being a gymnast?

Yes you can or you can just slide it away from the head a ways and put it on. The whole mattress is much lighter than the old stock junk and it really takes the load off the gas struts.

My bed is tight to the wall head to toe. You have to access the sides by the doors at the foot of the bed. No access between the foot and the doors. To get from one side to the other you must go into the Livingroom and round the TV an thru the other door. Making the bed is a bitch. Can you bring the head up, hook the queen short sheets on the corners of the mattress, then lay the bed down without climbing on the bed. I wish to put the sleep number frame on the platform. I realize I will loose the under bed storage. I am more than willing to give that up.

I’ll never own another one. After 5 yrs the 20 year prorated warranty was going to cost me $750 to replace the broken or worn out parts of the mattress.

Ours is a RV King. We have used it for 6 years and it's still great.
Our inside stick and brick mattress we paid almost the same for is shot after 8 years. It's a gel/memory foam ,Go figure?

Glad yours is holding up. At the time I was 100 lbs heavier and asked the salesman if it would hold up to my weight. Sure he said! I think he blew smoke up my backside. Very dissatisfied with it and the company.

I don't care about the mattress. I am only interested in the frame. I wish to install an off brand full size frame on my platform with my Queen short memory foam mattress. Can I raise the head up, hook the fitted sheet on and lower the lower the head without getting on the mattress?

I'm gonna try this one more time. I have no room to slide the frame away from the wall. Frame must stay in place. Mattress must stay in place. I need to raise the head. Slip-on the fitted sheet and lower the head. This needs to be done without being on the mattress. Just standing next to the bed.

Hi Cavie-- Yes, you can pull the corners up to fit the sheet on. We have had the Sleep Number RV queen for about 3 years. We really like it.
