Slide out awnings.....which one?

Any brands to consider or stay away from? I just opened the slide, last time I closed it was at the camp ground with lots of trees. As I opened it the suction pulled a bunch of leaves in the camper and made a mess.

Whichever brand you get, spring for the ones with the heavy vinyl cover or the aluminum cover. Otherwise, they deteriorate pretty fast on the short exposed part when the camper is stored. (Unless you are lucky and have covered storage.

My dealer only offered Carefree toppers. I had them install it and it's only been two weeks but it's been fine... I believe it's the SideOut Kover III.

I just take a cordless leaf blower on the roof and blow off leaves/blow away rain from the slides/awning before I leave. Forces me to inspect the roof as well, which I would be unlikely to do otherwise.
