Slide out clutch engaging too soon

My trailer has a fairly deep slide out, its a rear slide with a king bed. I believe it slides out between 5 or 6 feet. The last 3-4 inches of travel, the clutch for the motor kicks in, and prevents the slide out from moving any further. If I go outside and support the slide out and have my wife push the button, it will travel the last 3-4 inches no problem.

Is there any way to adjust the clutch setting on the motor? Everything seems to be lubed and running smoothly.
