Kitty and I just returned from a week long camping trip. While at the campground I like to look at what other campers do. I noticed a camper with slide supports. You know a tall "jack stand" that supports the slide when extended. I have never gave them any thought until then.
My question: Who uses them, are they a needed thing for our slides?
I think one of the possible problems is that if the RV is parked on soft ground, settling could cause a lot of weight to be placed on the slide. It's for that reason I don't use them. BTW, if you decide you want to purchase them, I have a set for sale...cheap

I've wondered the same thing with a 32BHDS parked on a seasonal site - I am leaving my slides open from now until the end of October with no supports under them. The trailer will be parked in the same spot through the winter and the slides will again be open from next May until next October.
I'm "relatively" confident I shouldn't have any issues leaving the slides opened and unsupported.
Someone invented and marketed the slide supports for people that have too much money and need to have everything under the sun. You would be better off to buy extra stabilizer jacks for the frame.
