I think it is an effort to be eco-friendly but like electric cars some of this stuff is not eco anything because it is not reality nor is it friendly.

I still go to the bathroom and wipe, it's easier to open a dump valve then do that

I do not understand why people still refuse to use the toilet in their camper. Using it has zero effect on any resale value. The convenience far outways the basic maintenance.
